About the School

Athens-Chilesburg Elementary opened in 2006 as a replacement school for Athens Elementary. ACE, as it is referred to, combined students from old Athens with children from the areas surrounding the new building. All of these families came together to create a new school community where "Excellence for All" is the vision.

 

The school day runs from 7:45-2:35. The doors open at 7:15 for students. Our office staff is in the building from 7:00-3:00.
